Do you believe that He is?

I really hope this encourages and helps you out there with what I write about, because I know it helps me. It’s really God’s writing’s, not my own. He’s just using me as a vessel and stirring my spirit at the same time. I love it!

I think we forget sometimes that God really wants to bless us. It’s like there are so many troubles, problems and worries in this world, that when we’re not constantly reminding ourselves of God’s promises (His promises for us are HUGE by the way – bigger than what we can ever imagine ourselves), we slip into the worldly thinking of, “We don’t deserve to be blessed,” or “How can we be happy and not worry when you look at what’s going on”. The truth is, we don’t deserve to be blessed at all, we actually all deserve death. It is only by God’s grace and undeserved, unmerited favor that we can have an abundant life full of God’s blessings, but we have to believe it and actually not look at the world or what’s going on it.

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

We must first COME to Him (He won’t first come to us) and believe that He is. What does that mean? We must believe that God said we are favored, we must believe that He HAS chosen us for a holy calling. We must believe that we are a royal priesthood, as it is written. We must believe that He loves us unconditionally. We must believe that He wants to be so intimate with us. We must believe that he shall supply ALL OUR NEEDS according to HIS riches in glory. We must believe that He wants to fill us with His peace and joy and take away all our burdens and worries. THEN we must believe that He WILL reward us when we seek Him with all our heart. When we pour out our heart to Him and receive everything that He has for us. God has all these treasures stored up for each one of us (while we are here on this earth, not just in heaven), so much desiring for us to have them, if only we would believe that He is.
