Live in His empowerment

I know I’ve wrote about this before (perhaps in a different way), but this is my journey and I’ll always try and be guided by the Holy Spirit with what I write. Lately, I’ve found myself getting a fair few head aches and not as much patience as usual. I’ve been extremely tired and feel like I’m rushing everything at the moment. I’ve been praying, reading and spending time with God, but tonight, it has just clicked with me with what I haven’t been doing for a while. I haven’t LET God minister to me. I haven’t been receiving from Him. I haven’t been hearing Him say to me that He loves me and for me to receive His peace, His love, His joy, His strength and everything else.

That is His grace. Like when we first experience His love, peace, joy, abundance in every area of our lives, total freedom after we give our lives to Him, it’s like we’re on cloud nine, we’re unstoppable! Then most of us stop Him from giving all that to us. Some times we have let the law can creep in to stop us, unbelief can creep in, unforgiveness can creep in – I mean the devil will try anything and everything to stop us from staying in that freedom, but in the end, it’s actually our choice. Most of the time, we’re not aware that it is the devil.

Our God is a giving God. He will never stop giving to us. He is actually stronger when we receive from Him. Like the Samaritan women at the well who received living water from Jesus (John 4:7-38), He received strength after she heard, believed and received from Him. He said to His disciples that He had already eaten food that they didn’t know about, which was to do the Father’s will and to finish the job. The awesome thing is that Jesus did finish the job! All that grace is there for us already! When we are weak, He is strong. It’s not “When we are weak, He is going to be strong”. HE IS STRONG! Where sin abounds, grace abounds even more. God’s grace is so powerful and so much stronger than anything in this world and that is what has saved us and is in us right now. We need to keep living in His grace. We need to keep receiving all that He has for us or we won’t be free. God wants us to be free in this life and on this world! Not just after we get saved. Believe that all of His grace and empowerment is inside of you to do His will for your life, the divine purpose that He has ordained for each and every one of us.
